LOCAL LEGENDS
AIM 121 Youth projects was set up 4 years ago with the sole purpose of creating opportunities for young people in the borough of Merton and its surrounding areas. These opportunities range from networking, confidence building, up skill, embrace heathy practices and lifestyle.
We work closely with our young people whose age range from 6 to 17, and their parents and carers. Through feedback, we develop and co-create activities such as Summer, Easter and Autumn camps, seaside trips, day out to Sky studios, overnight residentials, games, preparation for work and so much more. All our activities include children with special educational needs.
We also facilitate a Saturday morning music school which has been popular with all ages.
Our work is recognised by the Mayor or Merton, Merton Connect and the Local MP and counsellors. This year two of our young volunteers were awarded by the borough for their contribution to volunteering.
AIM 121 Youth Projects is always seeking to accelerate our support to young people, increase their participation and maintain engagement with all.
